Q:  How does the training work?

We offer private one on one lessons at the beginning of all programs, because one trainer cannot effectively focus on 5-10 people all at the same time.  We pride ourselves on a high quality product (our clients and their pets) so we would rather start training off by giving you the service and attention you deserve.

Q:  Do you use positive reinforcement?

Positive reinforcement is a term that is thrown around without the understanding of what it really is.  We encourage our clients to praise and reward the dog with what ever will motivate the dog.  The reward can vary such as: food, ball, tug, verbal/physical praise, or simply allowing the dog to play with another dog.

Q:  Do you work with aggressive dogs?

Yes, we train dogs with many different behavioral issues to include aggressive dogs.  It is important to seek the guidance of a professional trainer when it comes to aggressive dogs.  Also it is vital to note that not all aggressive cases are the same, some aggression is learned, and some may be fear aggression to name a few.  Please be aware with some aggressive dogs the problem cannot be fixed however most all the time it can be controlled.  We have been extremely successful in rehabilitating numerous dogs and ridding them of their aggression.

Q:  Why is the company called Off-Leash Dog Training?

Simple, because we never say stay!  Believe it or not it is not necessary to use the stay command.  You will notice with our dogs we will never tell them to stay, what we say is what we mean and that’s why Off-Leash Dog Training.

Q:  What are the rates for your training programs?

Prices vary depending on the program, the best way for a trainer to give you an accurate quote is to allow us to give you a completely FREE demonstration with one of our dogs.  Also we do offer a Military and Senior Citizen discount.

Q:  Is there any guarantee we will have successful results through your training?

Absolutely, we are so confident in ourselves and our modern training system that we will refund you your money if you are not completely satisfied with the training you received.  Please note like anything what ever you put into the training you will get out of it, so you should give it your all.  So if you follow our program we will guarantee successful results, however it is up to you to follow through once you have received the training.

Q:  What areas in Colorado do you service?

We provide dog training for all of Larimer and Weld counties and the surrounding areas.

Q:  I know you offer off leash obedience, must our dog be off leash?

Not by any means, if you do not feel comfortable having your dog off leash due to leash laws then please only do what you feel comfortable doing.  However if you are interested you can have complete control off leash around severe distractions.

Q:  What is the Unlimited Training for the life of your dog mean?

It means that we are your trainers for quite a while, you can call on us anytime even years after your first lesson.  You have completely UNLIMITED private one on one lessons for the life of your dog, now that’s value.
